Global Academic Program (GAP)

A Global Academic Program allows an organization to join an exclusive network of international hospitality schools and organization. A GAP license agreement satisfies a school’s needs by offering:

1. International recognition for the school
2. Up-to-date quality resources available in a full range of proven, timely educational materials,
3. A variety of curricula ranging from areas of specializations to full diploma programs
4. Flexibility in operations, schools calendars, and academic agendas with no requirements of conformity in establishing class time, size, supplementary materials, or special equipment
5. Validation of instructor staff competency through certification of full time faculty
6. Low cost licensing fees

Term of Agreement:

Five (5) years, with renewal provision

Use of EI Name and Trademarks:

Right to use the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) name, logos, and trademarks in delivery of courses.

Other Privileges and Benefits:

Obligations of AHLEI:

1. Certify full-time faculty members/eligible employees
2. Perform a pre-license school inspection

4. Maintain standards throughout the network of licensed schools
5. Promote AHLEI name and products internationally

The GAP program assists the school in offering these benefits to students:
