Global Academic Program – GAP
A Global Academic Program allows an organization to join an exclusive network of international hospitality schools and organization. GAP license is designed to help schools develop well-educated students in their pursuit of either an academic degree and/or academic certificate programs:
Privileges and Benefits:
- Offer EI courses, areas of specializations and diplomas
- Right to use EI name and trademark
- Availability of a full range of prove, up-to-date educational materials
- Flexibility in class size and meeting times
- Full range of supplemental materials including videio and CDs
- Students receive credentials recognized worldwide
Term of Agreement:
- Five (5) years, with renewal provision
- Use of EI Name and Trademarks:
- Right to use name, logos, and trademarks of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute – EI
Other Privileges and Benefits:
- Availability of state-of-the-art methodology and hospitality education materials
- International recognition through EI name and network of licensed schools
- Access to a variety of proven hotel management curricula
- Access to an exclusive section that provides resources materials for license holders
Fees:
- Application fee
- License fee
- Annual maintenance fee
Obligations of EI:
- Certify full-time faculty members/eligible employees
- Perform a pre-license school inspection
- Make technical assistance available
- Maintain standards throughout the network of licensed schools
- Promote EI name and products internationally
